The Levantates isn’t your typical superhero family like the Incredibles. The series hits on more complicated personal, social, and family issues.

A newly married couple, Felix and Carmen Levantate, and their kids attend a blended-family retreat: a front for an organization experimenting on blended families. Returning home with superhero abilities puts bonding on hold as they struggle to save the world.

However, the list of powered villains continues to grow. The Levantates and other families are recruited by TANDEM, a shadow organization, that needs powered people on their side.

While trying to save the world, the Levantates will have to manage the challenges of sibling rivalry, identity confusion, marriage cohesiveness, loss, acceptance, and unity, among others.
